Established in 1884, it is the oldest organization in Higginsville/Lafeyette County. We are always doing something in the community, even when we go dark (Jan 15th thru March 15) and have no scheduled meetings. We meet the Second Thursday (7PM) and the Fourth Thursday (5PM) at the community bldg. We welcome everyone to come by and check us out. Please contact us for more information or if you would like to become a member.

Fun Facts:
The 32nd U.S. Vice President, John Nance Garner, was an Odd Fellow whose Texas roots tied him to the order’s strong presence in the state. His membership added to the IOOF’s political legacy.
