The Encampment branch of IOOF aims to further the work of Odd Fellowship and impart the principles of Faith, Hope, and Charity. The Odd Fellows has been active in Burlington since 1845. Our lodge has had a recent revival with a surge of new members and the creation of a vibrant mural honoring IOOF history and symbols. Our History: A petition to create Green Mountain Lodge, No. 1 in Burlington was submitted on December 12, 1844 as part of the Grand Jurisdiction of New York by T.D. Chapman, L Jno. Starke, Jno. C.
