Established on September 20, 1851, the Rebekahs, also known as the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies (IARA), and originally the Daughters of Rebekah is an international service-oriented organization and a branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. It was initially designed as the female auxiliary of the IOOF but now allows both female and male members. Please contact us for more information or if you would like to become a member.
The Davis Odd Fellows Lodge is the oldest Odd Fellows organization of the City of Davis, California. The IOOF was established in Davis in 1870 – just five years after the end of the Civil War – and has been here longer than the City of Davis or the University of California at Davis. The Davis Rebekah Lodge, along with the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge, owns the Odd Fellows Lodge Hall building and the surrounding property. The Davis Odd Fellows Lodge is the oldest organization in the area, having been chartered in 1870, well before there was a city of Davis and before the University of California came into town.
