Alma Lodge #523 has been active in the Johnstown community since 1856. Located in historic Alma Hall, which survived the Johnstown Flood of 1889, Alma Lodge supports a variety of organizations and events in the Johnstown area. We also provide a variety of activities for our members and their families. We invite all brothers and sisters traveling through our area to join us for a meeting or stop by for a tour.
Aluta Lodge #488 is a local chapter of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) and promotes personal and social development through fraternity and community service. Instituted in Bushkill Center (Nazareth) on November 16, 1946. We had two consolidations: Valley Union Encampment No. 138 of Easton (1/6/1866 - 12/28/1972) and Star Encampment No. 139 of Bethlehem (1/6/1866 - 9/23/1976). Around 2015 we moved to Allentown, then around 2020 down to Sellersville, where we currently meet. The Bushkill Encampment #55 is a higher branch in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows whose aim is to further the work of Odd Fellowship and impart the principles of Faith, Hope, ...
Canton Allentown No. 39 was instituted on October 12, 1907 and reinstituted on August 21, 2014. In recent years we have moved to Sellersville. We are home to 2 Past Department Commanders. The Patriarchs Militant (PM) is the highest degree within the IOOF, focusing on ceremonial and fraternal activities. Patriarchs Militant lodges are referred to as Cantons.
